Before she became a caregiver, Brenda spent years as a teacher, shaping young minds with patience and kindness. But in 2013, she discovered her true calling in elderly care services. “Before retiring from teaching, I was doing this part-time, and I fell in love with working with the elderly,” she shares.

When Brian, the owner of HomeChoice, and Maggie, HomeChoice’s Branch Manager, arrived to surprise Brenda with the Caregiver of the Year award, she was completely in shock. She couldn’t believe the recognition she was receiving for her years of dedication and hard work.
