Doritha was chosen for this honor because of her caring and compassionate nature. Doritha exhibits teamwork frequently, she is always willing to lend a hand to ensure a client receives the care they need. Dorita has a special knack of communicating with her clients and building strong bonds with them. She is the kind of person who, once assigned to a client, they always request Dorita! She exhibits all of the HomeChoice values, but Dorita is the perfect example of our Teamwork value. She is flexible when a client needs to adjust a schedule and is cheerfully willing to fill in when our scheduling team needs her.

Doritha has been with HomeChoice Home Care Solutions since March and has been a CNA for 28 years. Doritha became a caregiver because she loves helping people. When asked, Doritha said she loves working for HomeChoice Home Care Solutions because “I like how everyone makes you feel like you matter too.” Doritha has a gentle way of connecting with her clients. She especially loves to cook and shop with her clients.
When she is not working, Doritha enjoys being with her grandchildren and her family. She likes to go out to eat and enjoys “just having my 2 children around and spending time with my mom”.
